"Most organisations don't have a data problem. They have a decision problem. The data exists — quite a lot of it. What doesn't exist is a shared understanding of which numbers to trust, who owns them, and how they connect to an actual decision. You can't AI your way out of that."

22 years on the inside. Now working for you.

I spent 22 years as a senior leader inside a large French multinational — across finance, transformation, BI, pricing, data and analytics. I led technical teams, designed transformation programmes, and sat in the rooms where the numbers didn't agree and nobody said so out loud.

Earlier in my career I trained and worked with KPMG, qualified as a CPA, and lectured in financial and management accounting at the University of Galway. That foundation — technical rigour, the ability to translate complexity, and a deep understanding of how finance functions actually work — underpins everything I do today.

I have a personal understanding of how cognitive difference shapes the way organisations process information and make decisions — and how much gets lost when that difference isn't recognised or valued. This informs both how I work and what I look for when I'm inside a client organisation.

I work directly with CFOs, CDOs, COOs, and HR Directors. I am direct, specific, and honest. I will tell you what I find — not what you want to hear. If that sounds useful, we should talk.

Where I add most value is helping organisations uncover the operational and commercial realities underneath the surface — particularly where data, decision-making and business processes intersect. I'm strongest in environments where there's ambiguity or complexity to work through, rather than highly templated delivery. That comes from 21 years inside a large multinational where I sat at the intersection of finance, data and operations — and learned to spot what the numbers weren't saying.
